9 Mothers
Compact counter-drone turret that detects and engages small FPV attack drones at close range.
About
9 Mothers is an Austin, Texas company, founded in 2024, that builds counter-drone systems for close-range defense. Its first product, Edda, is a small turret that picks up drones with passive acoustic sensing, refines the track with an onboard vision model, and engages small FPV attack drones with a shotgun effector at roughly 10 to 100 meters. It is designed for vehicles, bases and portable use, and it emits no radio signal while it searches.
