Terms of Service
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of autonomyrunway.com and all related pages, tools, emails, and services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Autonomy Runway ("Autonomy Runway," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, checking the box to accept these Terms, buying a plan, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Please read Section 19 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved through individual arbitration and waives class actions and jury trials.
1. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. In these Terms, "you" means both you and that organization.
- The Service is for business and professional use. It is not offered for personal, family, or household purposes.
- You may not use the Service if you are located in, organized in, or ordinarily resident in a country or region subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions; if you or your organization appear on any U.S. government list of restricted or prohibited parties; or if you are owned or controlled by such a party. We also choose not to serve certain countries, which are listed on the Service, and we may decline accounts from them.
- We may verify your identity, your organization, and your role, and we may refuse, limit, or remove any account at our discretion.
2. Accounts
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at team@autonomyrunway.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.
- Each organization may hold one account unless we offer additional seats. Do not create extra accounts to obtain additional free offers or to avoid limits or a suspension.
- If you choose the wrong organization type, we may change it.
3. What Autonomy Runway is, and what it is not
Autonomy Runway is a platform that helps drone, robotics, autonomous systems, and related organizations present themselves, find one another, and use information and tools.
- We are not a party to any transaction, contract, financing, investment, partnership, joint venture, purchase, sale, or other arrangement between users, even when it begins with an introduction we made. We do not negotiate, guarantee, or supervise any of them.
- We are not a lender, loan broker, investment adviser, broker-dealer, funding portal, placement agent, law firm, accounting firm, export-control consultant, or government agency. We do not receive any commission, fee, or share of any financing, investment, sale, or contract that results from use of the Service.
- We are a private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government agency. Government opportunities, programs, rules, and events shown on the Service come from public sources, may change at any time, and are summarized for convenience. Always rely on the official source.
- Do not use the Service to offer or sell securities. Any discussion of investment takes place directly between the parties involved, who are responsible for complying with securities laws.
- Information on the Service about financing, government contracting, certifications, compliance, export controls, agreements, and entering the U.S. market is general information. It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, export-control, or other professional advice. Agreement planners summarize your own decisions for your lawyer. They are not legal documents.
4. Company pages and listings
- We may create pages for organizations using publicly available information, such as company websites, public registrations, and public lists. These pages are marked as unclaimed and may contain errors. A page does not mean that the organization has joined, approved, or endorsed the Service.
- An authorized representative may claim a page. We may verify the claim, for example through a company email address or registration records.
- Any organization may ask us to correct or remove its page at any time, using the removal link on the page or in our emails, or by writing to team@autonomyrunway.com. We act on these requests within a reasonable time.
- After you claim a page, you are responsible for what it says.
- You control whether your page can be shared. When sharing is on, anyone with the link can view the page.
- We may format, shorten, hide, or remove any content, and we may decline to display any page.
5. Your content
- "Your Content" means everything you post, upload, or submit, including profiles, images, videos, posts, Board posts, requests, responses, messages, and documents.
- You keep ownership of Your Content.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, format, display, and share Your Content as needed to operate and improve the Service, consistent with your visibility settings. This includes showing the public parts of your page on the Service and featuring them in our emails and posts about new organizations and activity. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for a limited time in backups, content already delivered to other users (such as messages), and copies we must keep by law.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed to share Your Content, that it is accurate, and that sharing it does not break any law, contract, or confidentiality obligation, or infringe anyone's rights.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
6. Information you must not share
The Service is not designed to store or transmit controlled information, and users from many countries can access it. Do not post, upload, or send through the Service:
- technical data or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), unless sharing it is clearly authorized;
- classified information or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI);
- another party's confidential information or trade secrets without permission;
- government identification numbers, bank or card account numbers, health information, or other sensitive personal data;
- false or misleading claims about certifications, government approvals, compliance status (including NDAA or Blue UAS status), past performance, ownership, or funding;
- malware or harmful code; or
- unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content.
You are responsible for complying with export control and sanctions laws when you share information with any user. Sharing technical data with a foreign person can be an export, even within the United States.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape, harvest, copy in bulk, or resell data from the Service, including contact details, except through download tools we provide and within their limits;
- use the Service or its contact details to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- get around limits, access controls, verification, or payment, or create accounts to repeat free offers;
- copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- use automated means to create accounts or access the Service, except through tools we provide; or
- use any AI feature to create unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content.
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, and suspend or close accounts.
8. Board, buyer requests, messages, and introductions
- Board posts, buyer requests, and responses are created by users. We do not verify them unless a label on the Service says otherwise.
- Before you share sensitive information, send samples, pay, sign, or deliver anything, do your own checks on the other party's identity, authority, finances, and compliance.
- A buyer may set terms for what it wants to receive. If you respond, follow those terms.
- Service jobs are posted and answered by users. We are not a party to a job and do not check the work; any agreement, payment, insurance, or flight permission is between the poster and the operator.
- We may introduce users to one another. An introduction is not a recommendation or endorsement. We may ask whether an introduction led to a meeting and use the answers in our activity counts.
- We do not read private messages except when needed to investigate a report, enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with the law.
- Report suspected fraud or abuse to team@autonomyrunway.com.
9. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence (AI), including Document Check, writing help, summaries, and Partner Match, whose match report is written with AI from public web research. These features rely on automated systems and on AI models provided by third parties.
- AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. AI can misread a document or miss an issue. Review and check all output before you rely on it, use it, or send it to anyone.
- AI output is not legal, financial, credit, investment, tax, export-control, or other professional advice. No score, rating, finding, or match predicts or guarantees any decision by a lender, investor, buyer, or government agency.
- You are responsible for any document or message you send to others, including anything prepared with the help of AI.
- Do not submit export-controlled, classified, or CUI information, information you are not permitted to share, or sensitive personal data to any AI feature. Remove it before you upload.
- As between you and us, you own the output generated for you from Your Content, to the extent the law allows. Similar output may be generated for other users.
- We do not use Your Content or your AI output to train AI models. Our AI providers process it under business terms that do not allow them to train their models on it. We use usage statistics, such as counts, run times, and costs, to operate and improve the Service.
- AI features have usage limits. We may change, limit, or pause them to manage cost, quality, security, or abuse. Free uses, such as one free Document Check, are limited to one per organization.
- Document Check reads the documents you upload and lists issues a lender, investor, or buyer may raise. We keep your results, which name the file and the page where each issue appears, and, until your files are deleted, short excerpts quoted from your documents, which the check reads. Our Privacy Policy explains how long we keep files and results.
10. Company checks and badges
- Marks such as "Company checked," "Premium," "Founding Member," and "Featured" mean only what the wording next to them says.
- A Company check confirms only the specific facts listed, against the sources listed, as of the date shown. Facts can change after that date.
- A Company check is not a certification, accreditation, endorsement, security clearance, or credit approval. It is not a review of any product's quality or safety, and it does not confirm compliance with the NDAA, Blue UAS requirements, export controls, or any other law or program.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of documents you give us. We may remove any mark at any time, for example if information proves wrong or a check expires. Giving us false or altered documents is grounds for closing your account without a refund.
11. Featured, sponsored, and paid placements
- Featured partners, featured companies, newsletter spotlights, and similar placements are paid or promotional. They are labeled as such and are not endorsements or recommendations.
- Paid placement does not change the order of search results, Find Funding results, or Board listings.
- Each advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and legality of its own content. We may reject or remove any placement.
12. Paid plans and payments
- The pricing page shows prices and what each plan includes at the time you buy. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes are added where required.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
- We will email you at least 30 days before a price increase takes effect on an existing subscription. You may cancel before the increase applies.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it. Paid features may pause after a grace period until payment succeeds.
- One-time purchases, such as Document Check, Company check, Bid response kit, job posts, and the U.S. Entry Package, cover the scope described at the time of purchase.
- Free offers, founding offers, and trials work as described when they are offered. They may be limited to one per organization, and they end on the dates shown. We may change or end free features with notice. Founding Members keep Pro free for as long as we offer Pro or a plan that replaces it, provided the account stays in good standing.
- Refunds follow our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- If you have a billing problem, contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We may suspend accounts that file unwarranted chargebacks.
13. Our content and intellectual property
- The Service, its software, design, compilations, logos, and our own content belong to us or our licensors. The name and logo of Autonomy Runway are our trademarks. Do not use them without our written permission.
- We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.
- The Service may include links to and content from third parties. We are not responsible for them.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to team@autonomyrunway.com that includes: a description of the work; where the content appears on the Service; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized; a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
15. Government users
- If you use the Service as an official or employee of a government agency, you use it in your official capacity.
- Free access for government organizations is offered to all government organizations on the same terms. It is not a gift to any individual.
- Any term of these Terms that a law binding your agency prohibits, such as indemnification, automatic renewal, arbitration, or a choice of law or forum, does not apply to your agency to the extent of that prohibition. For U.S. federal agencies, federal law governs where it requires.
- An agency's use of the Service does not mean that the agency endorses the Service or any user.
16. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any information on the Service, including listings, opportunities, programs, rules, events, AI output, and matches, is accurate, complete, or current. We do not guarantee any result, including any buyer, funding, contract, introduction, or meeting, and we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.
17. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, contracts, funding, or goodwill, even if we were told such damages were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100.
- We are not liable for content posted by users, for the conduct of any user, for dealings between users on or off the Service, or for the services of third parties such as payment, hosting, email, or AI providers.
Some places do not allow certain of these limits. In those places, the limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.
18. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Autonomy Runway and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, damages, and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your dealings with other users, your violation of these Terms or of any law (including export control and sanctions laws), or your infringement of anyone's rights.
19. Disputes, arbitration, and class action waiver
- Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, contact us at team@autonomyrunway.com and describe the dispute. We both agree to try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days.
- Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its applicable rules. The arbitration will take place in Sacramento County, California, or by video if the arbitrator agrees. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
- Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Either party may ask a court for an injunction to stop misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the Service.
- No class actions. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial.
- If this arbitration agreement is found unenforceable, disputes will be heard only in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
- Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act.
20. Suspension and termination
- You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by writing to team@autonomyrunway.com.
- We may suspend or close your account, or remove content, if you violate these Terms, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, if the law requires it, if payment fails, or if we stop offering the Service. We give notice when practical.
- When your account closes, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 3, 5, 9, 10, and 13 through 22 continue to apply. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
21. Changes to the Service and these Terms
- We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
- We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or on the Service at least 15 days before it takes effect, unless a change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means that you accept it.
22. General
- These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver.
- You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them, including to any company that operates the Service now or in the future and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- We may send notices to the email address on your account. You agree to receive communications from us electronically.
- If we provide these Terms in another language, the English version controls.
- You and we are independent parties. These Terms create no partnership, agency, or employment relationship, and they give no rights to third parties.
