Disclaimers
What we do, what we never do, and who answers for whatAutonomy Runway connects drone and robotics companies with financing, investors, buyers and production partners. Here is our part, and where it ends.
In short
- Autonomy Runway is a platform, not a party to any deal.
- We take no commission and no fee on any deal.
- We give no legal, tax, financial or investment advice.
- We do not sell securities, lend money or broker deals.
- A claimed page is the company's own claim; an unclaimed one comes from its public materials.
- Companies apply and bid; the lender, investor, program or buyer decides.
- No listing is an endorsement, and paid placement is always labeled.
Our role
Autonomy Runway is a platform, not a party to any deal.
Companies, buyers, lenders and investors agree and sign between themselves. We hold no money and no securities. We charge for subscriptions and services only: no commissions, no introduction fees, and no share of any loan, investment, sale or contract.
No advice
We do not give legal, tax, financial or investment advice.
Autonomy Runway is not a law firm, an accounting firm or a financial adviser. The guides are general information with links to the official sources, and the tools organize your own facts and decisions. We never tell a company which legal option to choose, whether a program will accept it or whether it complies with a rule, and we never write or suggest the terms of an agreement. For advice about your situation, talk to a lawyer, an accountant or a financial adviser.
Securities and investors
Investing is between a company and its investors.
Autonomy Runway is not a broker-dealer, funding portal, investment adviser or lender. It does not offer or sell securities, recommend investments, or take part in any loan or investment. Companies and investors make their own decisions and do their own checks. Pitch decks, plans and figures on a company's page are the company's own, and we do not verify the numbers or claims in them.
Financing and grants
We do not lend, invest or find the money for you: you apply, and the lender, investor, agency or program decides.
Limits, rates and deadlines change, and the program's official page is the one that counts. No one can promise an application will be funded, and we do not.
Company pages and claims
A claimed page is the company's own claim; an unclaimed page is our summary of the company's public materials, and may not be complete.
Certifications and compliance claims, such as NDAA, Blue UAS, FAA, FCC or ITAR status, are the company's own unless the page marks them as verified by us. A page marked “Claim this page” does not mean the company has joined Autonomy Runway or endorses us. “Verified” means we confirmed that the organization is real and that the person who asked works for it; it is not a review of its products, claims or finances.
No endorsement
Being listed or verified is never an endorsement.
We do not publicly rate, rank or vouch for any company, service partner, lender, investor or buyer; a Document Check score rates only your own documents, and shows only on your own screen. Paid placement is always labeled, and it never changes the order of the company list, the financing programs, the request board or the partner board. Anyone you work with through Autonomy Runway is yours to check and to choose.
Posts, requests and messages
What an organization posts, sends or asks for is its own, and it answers for it.
We review buyer requests, an organization's first job post, and the events and resources sent to us before they go up. Other posts go up without a review by hand, and messages are not reviewed before they are sent. A job post is the employer's: people apply on the employer's side, we receive no applications or resumes, and each employer checks the rules that apply to its post, such as pay-range laws. Posts can be reported, and we can take down one that breaks the rules.
Documents and Document Check
The Company Toolkit and its Grant application kit make drafts from your own facts: you review and edit every draft, and you send your own applications.
Document Check is an automated, paid review of your toolkit's drafts and the documents you already have, not an audit and not a professional opinion. The review points out what is missing or does not agree, and how to fix it. It is not a lending or investment decision, and not legal, tax or accounting advice: the lender, investor or agency decides.
AI features
Some tools use AI, and AI can be wrong: check every fact before you use it.
When you press “Suggest a draft”, the facts that field needs are sent to Anthropic to write it; in the Grant application kit, the kit's other saved text goes with them. The drafts the toolkit and the kit build from your company file use no AI. Document Check uses an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) to read your documents. Some news summaries on Updates are written by AI, and each one says so.
Export controls, sanctions and drone rules
Each company is responsible for its own export licenses, sanctions checks and drone rules.
Keep export-controlled technical data (ITAR or EAR) out of everything you post, send or upload. We certify, clear or authorize nothing: FAA, FCC and Blue UAS status is on the agencies' own records.
Autonomy Runway welcomes drone and robotics companies from every country not on the restricted list below. The restricted list comes from United States government procurement and Blue UAS rules. It limits which companies can take part in those programs; it does not change who can join Autonomy Runway or work with companies here.
We do not list or accept companies headquartered or manufacturing in these countries and regions, or owned or controlled from these countries:
- Belarus
- China
- Cuba
- Hong Kong
- Iran
- Macao
- North Korea
- Russia
- Venezuela
- Crimea, including Sevastopol
- The Russian-occupied parts of the Donetsk region of Ukraine
- The Russian-occupied parts of the Luhansk region of Ukraine
Not a government agency
We are not a government agency, and linking to an agency or program does not mean it works with us.
An agency or association that partners with us is labeled as a partner wherever it shows. SAM.gov registration is free and is made on SAM.gov itself; some registrations, such as DDTC's for ITAR, carry the agency's own fee. We register no one, and our paid plans pay for our tools, never for a government fee. A government purchase runs through the agency's contracting office and, when required, SAM.gov.
Other websites and sources
Other websites, and what they say, belong to their owners.
Guides and financing programs link to their official sources, each with the date we last checked it. Updates pulls in government notices and industry news automatically, each linked to its source and shown without a review by hand. Events are run by their organizers, who handle their own registration.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep what we publish correct, but we cannot promise it is complete, current or free of errors.
Rules, fees, programs and deadlines change, sometimes after we last checked them. A page or a tool can change, or be down at times. Examples and samples, such as Sierra Lift and Ridgeline Robotics, are made up. Before you apply, sign, buy or spend money, confirm the facts with the official source or the other party.
Prices and offers
Prices, plans and offers are the ones on our Pricing page, in U.S. dollars.
The Company Toolkit comes with a company account; the Grant application kit's drafts come with the Pro plans, and Document Check is a paid review. Plans, credits and Document Check are paid on Stripe's own checkout page, by card; the add-ons, which we agree with you directly, are invoiced. Card numbers never reach Autonomy Runway. An offer, such as the founding offer, runs only on the terms and dates the Pricing page gives it.
Names and trademarks
Names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners.
Naming an organization, a program or a product, such as SAM.gov, Blue UAS, Stripe, LinkedIn or Claude, does not mean it is affiliated with Autonomy Runway or endorses us. The names, logos and pictures on a company's page belong to that company.
Questions
Ask us anything about these disclaimers through our contact form.
We reply by email, usually within one business day. A company can ask for its unclaimed page to come down with the “Request removal” link on that page.
