Advanced Technologies, Inc. (ATI) was established in 1988 in Newport News, Virginia, where it works from an 84,000-square-foot facility. It is employee-owned and ISO 9001/AS9100 certified. Its work includes composite and metal rotor blades and machined rotor systems, full-scale models and mockups, wind tunnel models, and large composite tooling, and its fabrication department makes composite and metal aerospace structures with 3- and 5-axis CNC mills, lathes and wire EDM, plus a 16-by-90-foot robotic CNC machining center added in 2015.
