It advocates on federal investment, technology deployment and competitiveness and offers access to 1,400+ standards. Who it is for: Companies whose products or services contribute to safe operation of aerospace products. Associate membership covers suppliers and service firms, and OEMs with no U.S. operations or foreign government ownership. AIA published NAS9948, Unmanned Aircraft System Data Protection and Privacy (December 16, 2021), and its civil aviation vice president said AIA "has been a steadfast advocate for unmanned aerial systems operations."
