Alpi Aviation, founded in 1999 near the historic La Comina airfield in Pordenone, north-east Italy, builds light and ultralight airplanes, kit aircraft, helicopters and unarmed drones for civil and military use. Its Strix drones, among them the Strix-DF, are small fixed-wing aircraft for aerial surveillance. The company also owns a subsidiary in Stitar, Croatia.
