Alpine Eagle is a Munich defense technology company, founded in 2023, that builds Sentinel, an airborne system for countering drones. Sentinel puts radar and other sensors in the air, tracks small drones over a wide area, and launches interceptor drones from a larger carrier drone to catch a target in a net or destroy it. Its Sentinel-OS software is designed to work with both off-the-shelf and purpose-built aircraft.
