Alta Ares is a Paris defence technology company, founded in 2024, that builds air defence against drones. Its interceptors include X-Lock, a multirotor for short- to mid-range engagements, and Black Bird, a turbojet-powered fixed-wing interceptor for longer range. Pixel Lock is its software that helps interceptor pilots detect, track and guide onto aerial targets, and its Gamma and Cyclops software turn drone and sensor feeds into detections and mission plans.
