About
Applied Aeronautics was founded in 2014 and designs and builds its aircraft in the United States. Its best-known product is the Albatross, an electric fixed-wing drone that the company rates at up to four hours of flight, about 200 km of range and a 4.5 kg payload. The newer Sky Beam is a modular quadrotor with more than 60 minutes of endurance, up to 14 lb of payload on swappable rails and a PX4-based autopilot.
