Cosmic Robotics builds autonomous construction equipment, starting with solar farms. Its first robot is a wheeled vehicle with a robotic arm and suction cups that tows solar panels across a site, navigates with high-accuracy GPS and places each panel within a few millimeters of its position, installing one about every 30 to 40 seconds, as TechCrunch reported in April 2025. The company says the robot has been used on large utility-scale solar farms in the United States, and it is expanding into data center construction.
