About
Deftak is a Ukrainian defense technology company that makes guided munitions for unmanned aircraft. A drone releases the munition from altitude, and it steers itself to the target with onboard machine vision, without satellite navigation or continuous control from an operator. It is sized for aircraft already in service, such as fixed-wing drones with a wingspan of about three meters or more, so a reconnaissance drone can also carry out a precise strike. Ukrainian forces have used Deftak's munitions in combat since early 2024.
