About
Delft Dynamics is a Dutch company, founded in 2006 and based in Pijnacker near Delft, that develops and builds unmanned aircraft and counter-drone systems. Its main product is DroneCatcher, a multirotor that closes in on an unwanted drone and catches it with a net gun, then carries it away on a cable to a safe place or, when the catch is too heavy to carry, lowers it slowly as a controlled parachute; the project began in 2014 with backing from the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, the Dutch National Police and the Ministry of Security and Justice. It has also built the RH2 Stern, RH3 Swift and RH4 Spyder drone platforms and the U-drone.
