Droniq, based in Frankfurt am Main, is a joint venture formed in 2019 by DFS, Germany's air navigation service provider, and Deutsche Telekom. It helps professional operators fly drones safely in shared airspace, including beyond the pilot's line of sight. Its traffic management system uses the mobile network to show drones and crewed aircraft together, the HOD4track device reports a drone's position over LTE, and the TraX app gives pilots the live air picture.
