EGIDE is a French defence technology start-up, founded in 2025 by former MBDA engineers, building affordable effectors that can be made in large numbers, beginning with air defence against one-way attack drones. Its software-defined system links distributed sensors, AI-based detection and layered interceptors, and it is offered to armed forces and critical infrastructure operators as a service that is updated as threats change. The company is registered in Ris-Orangis, south of Paris, and works from Paris and Brétigny-sur-Orge.
