Griff Aviation is a Norwegian maker of heavy-lift drones, founded in 2015 in Sykkylven on the west coast, where it designs and builds its aircraft. Its GRIFF 30 and GRIFF 60 multirotors lift about 30 and 60 kilograms, with modular payloads such as the Griff Eye camera system and the Griff Claw cargo hook, for logistics, industrial lifting and emergency response. The company grew out of helicopter filming work and developed its aircraft alongside the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority as drone rules took shape.
