Intelligent Energy was formed in 2001 and is headquartered in Loughborough, in the United Kingdom, where it also manufactures, with offices in Cupertino, California, and Tokyo. It has been owned by Meditor Energy, part of the Meditor Group, since October 2017. It makes hydrogen fuel cell systems and power modules: IE-SOAR for unmanned aerial vehicles, IE-POWER modules, IE-DRIVE for vehicles and IE-GRID for stationary power.
