Kraus Hamdani Aerospace builds the K1000ULE, a small, fully electric unmanned aircraft with solar power, made for very long flights. A two-person team can carry and launch it, it comes in fixed-wing and vertical-takeoff versions, and in 2023 it flew for 75 hours and 53 minutes over Oregon. The company also makes ATNE++, an airborne mesh network that turns the aircraft into a communications relay, and MD-ACT, software for teaming autonomous systems across air, land and sea.
