Mainblades is a Dutch company in The Hague that automates visual inspections of aircraft with drones. Its system plans the flight path around an airliner, avoids obstacles and photographs the aircraft from set positions, indoors in a hangar or outside at the gate, for general visual inspections, lightning-strike checks and paint damage. Its data platform then helps inspectors review the images with AI, find damage and produce the maintenance report.
