Monava is a Swedish-Finnish company, based in Gothenburg, that builds drone detection around sound. Its acoustic sensor arrays pick up drones, and machine learning identifies the type of aircraft in real time. The system sends out no signal of its own, so it cannot be located or jammed, and it is meant to cover gaps where radar and other sensors fall short, at critical infrastructure and defense sites.
