Its system, Mastermind, sits between a human operator and several uncrewed platforms, such as aerial, ground and maritime drones, and makes its decisions locally at the edge rather than depending on a constant connection. It turns a commander's instructions into tasks the machines carry out on their own, so the group keeps working when communications are weak or lost, with a person still in charge.
