Origin Robotics is a Latvian defense company, founded in Riga in 2022, that builds autonomous systems for Europe and its NATO allies. Its main product, BLAZE, is a man-portable interceptor with a high-explosive warhead: radar guides it toward a hostile drone or loitering munition, then onboard computer vision identifies the target and locks on, and the operator confirms the strike. Its carrying case doubles as a launch and charging station, and it has wave-off and self-destruct safeguards.
