Rownd builds mission systems for autonomous drones and other uncrewed vehicles. Its products include an edge computer with modular radios that carries its mission software, onboard perception and planning for quadcopters through fixed-wing aircraft, an operator control app for web, Android and desktop, radio-signal detection and multi-sensor fusion, and tools to update AI models in the field without a constant cloud link. Its links can fail over between cellular and satellite networks, so one pilot is not needed for every drone.
