RTsys, founded in 2010 in Brittany, designs and builds underwater acoustic systems and autonomous underwater vehicles, drawing on years of work with the French Navy. Its COMET-MCM vehicle searches for and identifies sea mines with side-scan sonar, the COMET-300 and NemoSens vehicles map the seabed, and SEMA is a recoverable target for anti-submarine warfare training. It also makes the SonaDive diver-held sonar, listening buoys and hydrophone recorders.
