Silvertone UAV designs, builds and flies fixed-wing remotely piloted aircraft from its head office in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. It is a division of Australian UAV Technologies, which took over the business in 2013. Its main aircraft is the Flamingo Mk3, a fixed-wing aircraft with a 4.1-metre wingspan for beyond-visual-line-of-sight survey, mapping and surveillance with a range of customer sensors. It has also built the Cotesia, a backpackable aircraft under 2.5 kg, and developed the Sparrow, a long-endurance heavy-lift design.
