Wardstone designs interceptors for air and missile defense built from interchangeable modules, so the same airframe can take different propulsion, seekers and other subsystems to match the threat and the cost. Its surface-based interceptor, launched from the ground or from ships, is aimed at the band of threats between large, fast drones and medium-range ballistic missiles, including high-altitude drones, cruise missiles and rocket artillery. The company is also working on a space-based interceptor.
