Purchasing portal
How to register
- Have ready: your legal company name exactly as on line 1 of your Form W-9, your Employer Identification Number (EIN), an optional DUNS number, a contact name and phone, company phone and email, a physical address, an order (fulfillment) address, and a corporate contact who can act on financial matters. The Georgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS) job aid asks for these.
- Open GA@WORK Marketplace for Suppliers, enter your email and click Create Account.
- Enter the legal company name, tax ID type and number, and contact details. Check the Terms and Conditions and 'I am human' boxes, then click Create Account.
- Open the account validation email, click Complete Registration Now, and set your password.
- Sign in and choose how to get a one-time code (email, authenticator app or mobile phone).
- Add company details: doing-business-as name, country of origin, entity type, company phone and email.
- Add NIGP (National Institute of Governmental Purchasing) commodity codes. DOAS says they are optional, but you need at least one to get bid notices by email and to be listed on the Georgia Procurement Registry.
- Add a physical address and a fulfillment address with contacts, and choose how to receive purchase orders (email, fax or mail). Add the required corporate contact.
- Answer the business questions: Georgia resident, gross annual receipts, number of employees, and whether the business is small, minority-owned, woman-owned, veteran-owned or a small disadvantaged business.
- Check the certification box and click Submit.
- Search State of Georgia bidding events on the Georgia Procurement Registry (ssl.doas.state.ga.us/gpr). The Registry says a business must be registered as a supplier or bidder to submit a bid or proposal.
- For help, contact the DOAS Procurement Helpdesk at 404-657-6000 or procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov.
State certifications
- Georgia Business Certification Program: Small Minority-Owned, Small Veteran-Owned, Small Women-Owned, Minority-Owned, Veteran-Owned and Women-OwnedGeorgia Department of Administrative Services (DOAS), Small Business and Supplier DiversityGeorgia-domiciled businesses (primary place of business in Georgia) that already hold a certification from a DOAS-approved certifier. Apply inside GA@WORK Marketplace under 'Georgia Business Certification Application.' The 'small' types use Georgia's small business definition (O.C.G.A. 50-5-121) and tax returns to verify size. DOAS says there is no fee to apply.
- Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT); MARTA certifies firms in Clayton, DeKalb and Fulton countiesFirms seeking DBE status on federally funded transportation contracts. After the U.S. DOT Interim Final Rule of October 3, 2025, each owner must show individual disadvantage with a Personal Narrative form and a personal net worth statement, without regard to race or sex. GDOT says it is currently not accepting DBE Interstate or Uniform Certification applications.

We help you prepare your documents
With a company account, the Company Toolkit drafts your documents from your company file and your numbers; for drone companies and manufacturers, the readiness guide walks you through each registration. Document Check, a paid review, reads your documents before you send them. Your page puts you in front of buyers, lenders, investors and production partners.
