ANSCER AR250, AR650 and AR1250 robotic platforms receive Covered List exemptions

The FCC announced Covered List exemptions for three ANSCER robotic platforms following conditional approval by the Department of War, subject to continued onshoring compliance and product vetting.

The FCC's Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau announced that ANSCER Robotics' AR250, AR650 and AR1250 robotic platforms received Department of War conditional approval and are exempt from the Covered List. The exemptions depend on continuous compliance with ANSCER's submitted onshoring plan and updated product vetting. They have no stated termination date while those conditions are met; noncompliance or a false statement in the application can lead to termination and return to the Covered List.

What to do: Robotics manufacturers, integrators and buyers should verify the exact model and its current conditional approval status when assessing equipment. Review the FCC notice and current Covered List with suppliers or an equipment authorization adviser; the exemption applies to the named platforms and should not be treated as blanket clearance for ANSCER products or proof of eligibility for every procurement program.
